Through WCBG, the show is available to nearly 1,800 students every Tuesday at 10PM through midnight. Extending the show, due to popular demand, first took air for the two hour program in January 2008. This two-hour long show's purpose is to take a lighter look at the world of sports and news through the oddities, along with featuring a weekly guest on the show.
For the summer of 2008, The Allen Koehler Show was on the air on Cincinnati's home of the tri-state's home of album rock and roll Class X - 88.9FM. Allen was going solo, taking the show by himself to the airwaves starting on July 1st into August.
Allen Koehler comes from Okeana, Ohio (outside of Cincinnati), recruited to run Cross Country and Track for Wagner. This Resident Assistant at Towers is an International Affairs major. Allen also assists at Admissions by giving weekly tours and helping out with Campus Visit days. When he is not helping out around campus, Allen enjoys hanging out with his friends, reading John Grisham and listening to the Dave Matthews Band.
Allen came up with the idea for the show before even coming to Wagner College. Growing up listing to The Bob and Tom Show and Dennis Miller Live, it's a side passion that he has had for some time. In fact, he used to tape a "news show" when he was a young kid with his family's shoulder video camera, which took VHS, of course.
